The words that come out of junior high students is priceless. It is the most random thing I ever experience. It is my job to share with you the humorous sayings of these 12 and 13 year olds.
Mr. Morton's students' random thoughts
Hello world. My name is Josh Morton and I have been teaching 7th grade language arts for seven years now.
It's amazing how many people have said how brave I am for teaching junior high kids. I tell them it's the best year in the world because they're still innocent but I can poke fun and be sarcastic with them and they get it!
Over the years, I've been meaning to record the random things that come out of the mouths of my students. I must preface: Nothing they say is in response to anything I say to them. Most of these random squabbles come from their entrances and exits of my class or during a 2-3 minute breaktime I give them halfway through class.
There are times when I am lecturing and a student will raise his hand and say something totally random, and I will write it down before I lose the quote, but 99 percent of the time it never interrupts whatever the learning is for the day.
Your thoughts on these quotes is what I am most looking forward too. I will try to add context to the quote, but most of the time I have no clue why what they said came out of their mouths.
